Black Women's Expo (BWe Next)

Overview: The Black Women’s Expo (BWe NEXT) is the nation’s premier event for Black women entrepreneurs, professionals, and consumers. Originally launched in 1993 as “An Expo for Today’s Black Woman,” it has grown into the largest platform for Black-owned businesses to connect with a powerful audience.
The expo features a thriving marketplace showcasing small businesses, along with corporate exhibits offering resources and opportunities. Attendees can explore entrepreneurship panels, wealth-building sessions, and business ownership workshops led by industry experts. With a focus on economic empowerment, BWe NEXT continues to be a vital space where Black women can grow their brands, expand their networks, and support one another in business and beyond.
Blavity House Party Music Festival
Dates: June 14-15, 2025 (with add-on events June 13 & 16)
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
The Blavity House Party Music Festival is set to be one of the most exciting celebrations of culture, music, and community this summer in Nashville. Taking place at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium, the festival features incredible live performances, with headliners including Lil Wayne, Monica, BLXST, Dru Hill, Ryan Leslie, and Big Freedia.
In addition to the main concerts on June 14 and 15, VIPs can enjoy exclusive DJ afterparties each night at Marathon Music Works and Brooklyn Bowl. The festival also offers a Black-owned marketplace, showcasing local vendors and food trucks from across Nashville.
Durag Festival

Celebrating Juneteenth in true cultural style, the Durag Fest is a two-day event that has become a staple for Black culture enthusiasts. Now in its 6th year, this celebration in Charlotte features an exciting lineup of panels, speakers, mixers, workshops, and more. A standout highlight is the HBCU Design Challenge, where students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities compete to design a durag that embodies both the significance of Juneteenth and the symbolism of the durag in Black culture. IBE Summer Celebration 2025

One of the largest Black festivals in the country, the IBE Summer Celebration in Indianapolis is a 10-day extravaganza packed with culture, entertainment, and community engagement. Formerly known as the Indianapolis Black Expo, this event features an impressive lineup of concerts, symposiums, art fairs, and youth education initiatives, along with bustling marketplaces and parties.
